We are located in downtown Marion, across from the Sheriff's Department and the County Annex building.

Correctional Services is under the management of the Judges in Grant County Circuit, Superior I, II, and III Courts. This organizational structure has been in operation since 1991. The agency mission is to increase public safety by providing court services and programs aimed at motivating offenders towards positive citizenship. There are two (2) divisions: Probation and Community Corrections.
Probation includes juvenile: intake, referral, and monitoring.
Adult Probation includes: adult pre-sentence reports and supervision, Drug Court, and Alcohol and Drug Services.  

Evidence Based Practice: Correctional Services has been implementing evidence based practices for over 20 years in a variety of programs and services.
This includes the use of:
  • Assessment tools and case plans
  • Motivational interviewing
  • Targeting offender risk and needs
  • Data driven decision making 
The organization partners with Indiana Wesleyan University for independent evaluation. Please contact the Director for further information.
