----->Fall Tax Collection<-----The Treasurer's Office is going to open the property tax Express Lane in the downstairs lobby of the County Complex starting Monday, October 29th, 2018 through Wednesday, November 13th, 2018. Along with the Express Lane open, the Treasurer’s office will be collecting fall installment payments in the Treasurer’s office on the 2nd floor of the Complex from 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday. The deadline for the 2018 fall installment is Wednesday, November 13th, 2018. Statements were mailed on April 3rd, 2018. The Treasurer’s office will also be open in the downstairs lobby of the County Complex on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018 and Saturday, November 10th, 2018 from 10am-2pm collecting fall installment property tax payments.

NOTE: If you own property in Grant County and do not receive a tax bill in the mail by Tuesday, May 1st, please contact our office. It is likely that the mailing address on file with the Auditor's office was not valid or current at the time of printing and the statement has been returned to our office.
- FAILURE TO RECEIVE A TAX STATEMENT BY MAIL DOES NOT RELIEVE TAXPAYER OF THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR PAYMENT AND PENALTIES WHEN DELINQUENT.
The spring first installment due date for 2017 payable 2018 is midnight, Thursday, May 10, 2018.
The fall second installment due date for 2016 payable 2017 is midnight, Tuesday, November 13, 2017.
A 10% penalty has been applied to 2016 payable 2017 Fall delinquencies and is due with your Spring installment on Thursday, May 10, 2018.

Although the Treasurer's Office does not set up official payment plans, we do accept payments of any amount and at any time to help taxpayer's with their personal or family budgets. However, the full amount of payment must be paid in full by the deadline noted to avoid penalty.
Normal procedure is that tax payment info is updated daily to reflect payments posted in the Treasurer's office; except during heavy collection times (end of April through end of May and end of October through end of November). While our office strives to post payments as quickly as possible, there may be a few weeks waiting time before you see your payment posted or see your check clear the bank. Please be patient as we are working as quickly and efficiently as possible to post payments while maintaining the day to day operations of the office.
- Credit/Debit cards may be used to make payments in the grant county Treasurer's office but a 2.5% convenience fee will apply.

(A $1.50 convenience fee is charged for all transactions under $100.00.)

TO GET A PROPERTY TAX PAYMENT RECEIPT, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope, along with the bottom portion of the payment coupon sheet (which says "FOR A RECEIPT, RETURN THIS PORTION WITH A SELF-ADDRESSED STAMPED ENVELOPE WHEN MAKING A PAYMENT" on the reverse). That bottom portion(Copy C), which constitutes the official receipt for both installments, will be returned to you in that envelope.
